Hi,

I seem to be having a really odd problem creating a PSN ID, ive signed up for an account all ok, but when it comes to trying to create a PSN ID it wont accept my choice, im trying to use just "simps100" but i get the error 

"The Online ID must contain alphanumeric characters, can include underscores or hyphens and must be between 3 and 16 characters in length. The first character must be a letter of the alphabet"

Im not too sure why it wont accept my name as it fits in with all them guides, ive checked for spaces etc and theres none of that also. Just to rule it out, ive tried using a PSN ID of a friend and i do get an error saying it already exsists so im not too sure why it wont accept this one.. anyone any ideas?

Yes i have the same problem i was trying to make one named "Spunkz" it's not taken and it just gives me the same error message

i doubt spunkz will be allowed due to the sort of nature of the name

also u might want to remove your email address from your post
