I was playing the Unit 13 demo, when suddenly the sound stopped: I quit out of the game, then restarted it, but the sound was still missing, so I thought I'd turn the PS Vita completely off. When I turned it off, it didn't go off, but stayed on a black screen with a spinning circle in the middle, and the PS button was flashing. Now the whole unit seems "dead", with just the PS button flashing and I can't press ANY buttons or do anything with it. I have an 8GB memory card in the machine, on which I've only transfered pictures, mp3 tunes, and some videos, and up until now, the PS Vita has worked beautifully - I can't understand what went wrong, and I've only had it for 5 days! Please HELP!

Hold the power button for 30 seconds and release it.

Hold the power button for 2 seconds and release it.

Does it work now? If not, remove the memory card and try the above again.

Thank you for your help, but my PS Vita has sorted itself out now. I just let the battery run flat, and then charged it up again, and it has been fine ever since. Now I'm enjoying playing Unit 13, but thanks for trying to help.
