PS3/60gig YLOD, Manual Disc Eject

Hi.

My PS3 is out of its official warranty (as far as I'm aware), so I have signed up to a mastercare repair plan for it.It yellow lighted on me last week, I'm fairly sure it's overheated, some dope knocked a damned towel/cloth thing off the side and completely blocked off the vent at the back, along with the heating also being on and the room having been closed up blah blah, anyway it's dead, stuff happens.

I'm just wondering if there IS a manul eject for the 60gig console, I'm fairly sure mastercare will sort the ps3 and send the disc back, but there's a chance it's gonna be a major pain (it was last time, ps2 disc tray snapped locked timesplitters 2 inside, was almost a year before i got it back).

Any help would be appreciated! If not it's no huge deal, I can just stop searching. It's only KZ2 stuck in there, I can always get another cheaply. ^^'

(I can't believe my bad luck, I have a spec edition of MAG being sent off to me for friday. XD GAH!

The 360 better not red light on me again, I'll be taking it as a sign to get away from electronic stuff.. =P)

Re: PS3/60gig YLOD, Manual Disc Eject

Have you tried holding the eject button down while switching it on? If that didn't work there's apparently a hairdryer fix that will/should/could provide you with enough time to eject the disk.
