First of all for the purposes of this, ill let you know that i am confident with networking.
I have a BT Home Hub software version 6.2.6.H.
Now, with the home hub(piece of ****) for any device to show up to be able to be put in a DMZ, you have to give your PS3 a dynamic IP address(automatic on the PS3). Only then will it show up.
So i made it automatic, put it in the DMZ and used the same adress that was given to it automatically for its static IP address. So it has a static address and is in a DMZ. But Putting it in a DMZ changes its nat type to strict(type 3). Anyone know how to fix this?
When i assign it a static address outside a DMZ its nat type is type 2 but whenever i put it into a dmz it changes to type 3. anyone familiar with this?
