I realise 145 is the easy way out but thats a three month warranty and I might as well buy a new one pound for pound!

Am in discussion with Sony CS at the moment, who have so far taken the effort to at least discuss my concerns and re-establish my faith in Sony as a brand of some quality!

This happened to me I got it two days ago and I haven't been able to play for more than about an hour its a preowned yes I know dodgy but it should WORK :/, 40gb ps3, I did have an xbox but got kind of bored with it so decided to sell that and put the money towards a ps3 mostly for little big planet but when I got it home and started playing the game i got past the first level and the king one and then as the load white page thing came up it crashed so i turned it off eventually and turned it back on loaded up the console and it wasnt showing the game at all so i tried my brand new copy of red dead redemption and it still wasnt working or reading the disc so then i took it in to the gamestation that i originally bought it from and they tested it and it worked fine (this is after i had done a full system restore over night and it crashed in the morning) isnt it typical so then i took it home and it crashed yet again now im going back to the store to get another ps3 because this is just rediculous and very pour on both sonys and gamestations part as gamestation should be testing it for longer than a couple of minutes because if this is whats happening then its not going to show up straight away also can anyone please give me the uk sony support number because i cant find it anywhere

got this error code can play a game for ten mins before it crashes and says it although dvds and cds play even when the error code is shown... confused.com  ....... am refusing to pay to have it repairedand if they want money i will buy an xbox 360 or another console... am an unhappy customer grrrrrrrrrrrr
