My ps3 slim 120gb was bought in on dec 2011. I use it daily for about an hour and have had 2 major issues with it. Issue 1: (Version 4.00) every time I go to a site that has lots of flash objects, the ps3 seems to freeze and to restart, I would hold down the ps3 power button until it beeps and shuts off. Issue 2: (recent) I was playing COD MW2 and while online waiting in the team deathmatch lobby, the whole ps3 froze and I had to hold down the power button to turn it off again. Issue 2 had only Happened when I updated to version 4.10.

Please help me. I am happy to give any additional info and I have a 1 year warranty from GAME.

Issue 1 should be fixed now as the PS3 has been updated and is a lot more stable.

Issue 2 - Did it happen more than once?

It only happened once. I've used the net on my ps3 now on the websites that made it crash, and you are right. The version 4.10 update fixed it. And yes, the game problem only happened once and I've Left the ps3 off for 4 hours and the game issue isn't happening. Thanks for the help. I've ordered a cooling stand for my ps3 and I will post up any more issues. Thanks!!

Hi there I have a major problem with my ps3 system it freezers for about 5 seconds at a time every 4 to 5 minutes even when there is no game in I have formatted my ps3 twice now and it is still happening pleas can you help me? I don't know what else to do

it started happening since I updated to 4.11 software
