Hi,

I had bought the the prestige edition of MW Black Ops from Amazon, I Live in Australia and as i was told game is region free coded.

So with the game i get 2 promotion codes

1 Avatar, 1 Zombie Maps

I have entered both codes correctly all uppercase as in the display etc message when i press enter

"The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid. Please check your entries.

Well entries are correct and my only thought is that like itunes some codes are based per country you live in. but at least in itunes it states wrong region.

Is this the case? whom can i get to check this issue? do i need to contact activision or on here is fine?

Seems like noone cares...

I actually rang the Sony PSN on fri and he stated its region coded the codes given out, so the game isnt region coded but the bonuses within are. Kinda sucks so to be nice im just giving my codes away to some frinds on the motorbike forum im on as its 90% US residents, as the codes are no good for us Aussies

i'd happily have them But that's totally up to you, yes it sounds cheeky but if you dont need them then i might as well ask.

Hey I believe I know what the problem your dealing with is. Unfortunately I cannot help with out the code because certain codes happen to glitch the server. My friend works for sony and he said that they have been getting alot of complaints due to this bug. I can however send him the code and he can refine and reactivate the code. If you would like send it to me on psn trips_420_pratt and I will be happy to help.
