Heya.

I downloaded today (2 hours) the uc3 beta for the playstation plus people. i come to install the game and it gets to 14% and comes up with a error code of 80029564. this is sooo annoying as i did delete the installation file and downloaded it again (another 2 hours ) please advice on what this is? and how to solve this?

It is a brand new playstation slim with a 320gb HDD, will double check when i get home from work though.

I did have trouble installing the dlc packs i purchased for UC2.

Tonight i will check disk space and also try another download and see if it installs.

Heya all,

I checked disk space on my ps3 and i have 267GB left. So enought space for uc3 since it is only 3000 MB

Any more ideas as this UC3 beta is still not installing for me?

When you download it are you pressing: "Download in background" ?  Have you tried downloading it without pressing that?

I tried downloading it background and never worked so delted it but never downloaded it in background that time.

Each download took about 2 hours to complete. i dont think it is the download i think it is having trouble connecting to the right server during the installation. it says to contact technical help and i have no idea how to phone sony or contact them?

Can you download other stuff from psn of similar size?

That is one thing i have not done as yet. it is a brand new ps3 slim at 320gb. I will download tonight another game and try installing to see if this works.

Hi jblackbean20010,

I take it you have never had issues on any previous DLC before?

If possible you can try downloading the BETA with a wired connection to check there no issues with the wireless setup (ie data isn't being lost while downloaded). Otherwise when you try this later if you are still having an issue with this let me know and I'll look into it for you.

Hiya.

I always connect my playstation through a wired connection.

To be fair i have had trouble with this ps3 and downloads ever since i got it (Last week). Before i used to have a 80GB playstation 3 and this worked perfect.

I got my new ps3 slim at 320gb and tried to download the 2 uc2 dlc packs and they both had trouble installing. i thought nothing of this.

I am now trying a completly seperate game and restarted my ps3 back to factory reset.
