ok, so i turn my ps3 on this morning and find it cant sign into the psn so i checked Network Settings > and find on Connection Test it wont connect to the internet at all, i have tried both wire and wireless (its normaly wired) and neither work, tried new ethernet cable and plugging it into a new slot on the router, didnt work, the internet is working fine (i'm on it now) and the ps3 was fine last night as i played afew games of MW2 and i even went onto the store last night and bought somthin, so all settings are fine, could the network adaptor gone in my PS3?
unlikely that both wired and wireless would die at the same time - though not impossible,
if router reboot doesn't fix, might be worth doing the PS3 safe boot, rebuild (option 3) method
i rebooted it first, i'll try putting it in service mode then
hasnt worked, thanks anyway, waitin on CP calling me back now
no, and internetis workin fine on xbox and both laptops so its the ps3
Same problem with my PS3. On day i was connected to my wireless router the next day it wont pick it up at all. I have reset the router, reset the ps3 and nothing. The PS3 picks up my neighbors routers but not mine. My wireless works fine on my laptop though. Any help would be great I am stumped. When this happened I had changed nothing with my router or PS3. I am out of ideas help please.
