i currently have this error, even though the internet connection is working from the pc , and ive checked all network settings what do i do?

im getting my error code when trying to connect my facebook to my ps3 and ive also got 8002430C after maunally inputting the dns??????????? 

i also recently changed my facebook password but am typing the new one in grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Dunnie80,

Do you mean this code appears when connecting through the PS3 to Facebook (i.e the site itself) or the feature of linking the updates to your facebook profile for trophy unlocks etc?

Also do you have an issue going online with PS3 games at all?

For me its a little bit complicated, you see i tried to download some dlc and it wouldent let me i tried what you said and it dosent work. I tried downloading something else and it worked perfectly is there a way to fix this? I would most apreicate your help

I just got the error code 80710102 and i check my DNS servers and they are the same. I actually noticed that the ip address changed. Eg. xxx.xxx.x.102 originally, now it was xxx.xxx.x.101

I've been having this very problem for about 5 days or so and have therefore been unable to access PlayStation Store or login to my account ony my PS3; but when I'm checking the Primary DNS it looks very normal, however is there something wrong if it's the Secondary DNS that shows 0.0.0.0 ?
