Hello

I would like to know why I can't see the program guide for TV3, TV3 Plus 1 and Prime TV?

Also why I can't record TV3 channel?

All depends on your setup when you installed the disc and it asked you what region are you in, what did you select?

Also what region are you in so we can better assist you.

More info is required to help you, also try calling your local Playstation support centre.

Numbers can be located in any game manual.

im going to take a stap in the dark and say you are from NZ. AU dose not have tv channels called TV1. TV2, TV3. all we that is 7, 9, 10 (the big 3).

Region selection was New Zealand. All the remaining Station have a program guide, but not the 4 I listed.

WIll check it there is a local NZ support phone number.

well to help have the same problem , live in hamilton have fully installed via disk worked fine untill they did update now tv3 prime and one other no tv data , have phoned sony and they reckon there is no problem that they are awear of said to pay some one to come and check my tv singial but have it perfect as tv works like it should , play tv has the problem , fix it

Thanks for posting your problem.

There statement is a that they are not awear of the problem, well they don't read this forum or have play TV install or running.

If others that have PlayTV, and also see the same problem. Please list it here.

Uninstall the PlayTV software, re-install it, then go through the whole setup again

Don't forget there is an update for PlayTV. It doesn't update itself like games do.

Go to Setup > software update

have re installed it and done what ever updates that were ava and still no joy.

As you can see from the above screendump:

The decision to not show episode guides for the channels you listed is actually the choice of the respective broadcasters and the licence holders of the content they show. The PlayTV system is not a freeview service, which is why TV3 and Prime (which is owned by Sky, a pay TV service) do not have their episode guides.

But what about the recording issue YonNZL86??

I was getting to that guys. Same deal: because PlayTV is not a freview service TV3 does not allow recording of their shows

Hope I cleared that up
