Hi , my 60gb playstation 3 keeps crashing when i am trying to play games now , mainly at the parts where it has to load , i recently purchased dantes inferno and i thought the game was faulty but i got a new one today and still the same problem it just starts crashing , it seems to work fine at first then it crashes. I don't know whats wrong i am thinking it may be the laser / reader , as it sounds like when its trying to read the disc that its jumping . Please someone help me , as i don't know what to do , or what the problem really is .

does it do the same with other games too?

if it does, your blu-ray drive MAY be on its way out

yep it has started doing it with other games too , now its not even reading any games at all , and the worst thing is i think my warranty has expired , and i phoned sony . i was on the phone for 20 minutes and still did not get through , sony is a joke to be honest .

i have with one of those lens cleaner discs , and it did not work , i got through to sony and they told me to do a full system restore and if that does not work i've to phone them back , but thanks for all your help anyways .
