Playstation 3 blu ray audio issues

I have a 40 inch samsung 1080p tv hooked up via HDMI to my ps3, but recently i've noticed quite a few issues with audio on blu rays basically the clear difference between someone talking and a big action scene. To the point of having to either turn down or really turn up my tv...

 

Surely for people without 5.1 surround systems Sony could add a patch to help balance the audio to a new firmware update.

 

If anyone has any ideas or know if Sony are planning on anything? If they can add an option to balance audio on playTV i'm sure they can do it for watching blu rays...

 

Games and dvds are fine. Just blu ray... and yeah its only 2 channels selecting when setting up the HDMI.
