Sudden deduction from my credit card

Hello everyone, I don't know where to post this so I apologise if it's in the wrong section.

 

I've just added my credit card info in my account's billing information through "Sony Entertainment Network" and there was a deduction of 0.10$ suddenly. It's not much but I would like to know why there was a deduction and for what. Kindly help me or please guide me how to contact Sony directly.

its to check the card details are legit and it will be refunded

u will find most places do this when a new card is registered
