I believed from what i read online that ps3 was one of the best blu ray players in the market...Ill just be needing some advice in this issue.When I insert a bluray disc (tintin-MOVIE) into the console absolutely nothing happens!!!!!!! Theres just a tick sound after the disc spins & again after the tick sound the disc spins for a while and stops.......this is my first blu ray movie i purchased with high hopes but alas it just let me down.....Pl advice me in the proper direction......Thank you.

Hmm. That doesn't sound good.

Is the disk in good condition, clean and scratch free?
Also, is the PS3 able to play BluRay games okay?
And is the PS3 running the latest firmware?
