TV icon not showing on XMB on refurb PS3

Just got a rufurbished 60gb PS3 and the TV icon isn't showing on the XMB so no Iplayer icon aswell. Any way of getting it to show? I know I can just have it as a bookmark etc but it is more convenient having a direct link on the xmb.

Go online/offline a couple of times and it should just appear.

Lyonix is correct. Also once the PS3 has shutdown (NOT before) cycle the power switch at the back of the console to ensure a proper clean boot, wait 10 seconds between of and on.
