Why is this the case? 

All boxes are grey. I want to hand out due kudos.

According to this.....

"Why can't I give Kudos?
A few things to consider -
Are you a new member? Perhaps you haven't been on the forums for over 2 weeks yet. (Definitely not new)
Do you have over 500 page views? You can check this on your profile in the Statistics box. (I have 20,045)
Remember, you can only ‘kudo' a post once, perhaps you've already submitted kudos to the post in question. (unable to everywhere on the forum)
If you are still having problems then contact a moderator." (hey hey)

The " # Kudos" and the Thumbs Up are both grey and hovering gets me "Sorry, you can't give kudos to this post".

I used to be able to but now I cannot. And that means I can't bump your Everybody's Golf Randaple!

What if you go to My settings > Preferences > Kudos and check, save, then uncheck Hide kudos buttons and counts and then save changes and see what it looks like. Dunno why that would make a difference because when I click "Hide" the buttons actually disappear they don't just go grey but hey, worth a try.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it but to no avail. Still the dreaded grey box

Perhaps I have lost my kudos privileges? Who knows. Can beta testers not give kudos maybe?

i can, pm pret or another mod with screen shot, maybe someone put you in the sin bin lol

Have you tried another browser eg firefox or google chrome?

Oh and I realise I'm attempting to kudos my own post, get the same message regardless of post
