I had in the friday same problem like you. But yesterday and today I play Uncharted 3 absolutely all right. I don't know why I had this problem, and I hope that him I will never have it!

Hello, I have exacty the same issue with the game getting stuck after the loading screen with the spinning black ring. It is the only game I cannot get to work on the PS3 and is very frustrating. Not really sure what the answer is as have tried everthing here including replacement disks, reinstall system etc...

So I tried the method proposed by Glade Falcon, and it worked all day yesterday.Then last night the problem resurfaced. So this morning I tried the whole reinstall game method and now I'm back to square one. Can't even get to the menu. deleted everything and tried again, but no go.

my game UNCHARTED 3 DISC does not work but my BF3 and other games working fine...

im on chapter 19 almost in the end! then i contunue today then im just on the loading screen for 7 minutes at the start... all i can see is the RING!!!

PLEASE SONY AND NAUGTHY DOG PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!

I DID MY PART i even went back at EB GAMES MELBOURNE to replace my Uncharted 3 disc for another one and i tried it AGAIN and its still the same im still in the loading screen!!!

ATM IM FRUSTRATED!!!

I still LOVE UNCHARTED im just annoyed and Frustrated on this ERROR!!!

I have passed on the info and we are currently awaiting feedback.  I will update this thread as soon as I have more info.

Try booting the game up signed out of PSN.

The strange thing is that these problems has only Uncharted 3. Other games work normally!

Also having a problem with my second uncharted 3 disk takes a long time to load, slows down to a few fps every so often, audio out of sync and music stoping and starting from what I read on other forums some people are on there 4th or 5th disk so it must be the game it's self not working on certain ps3.

Hope this helps ......... i have had same problems as others but in desperation i moved my ps3 from the vertical position to horizontal and it has loaded first try !!!!!!!!!! , also deleted all uc3 save and data utility before i loaded it , might not last but going to get a game at last !!! ......... worth a try !!

I have tried everything. After being on the phone with Sony support for over 2 hours, they informed me that there was nothing wrong with my PS3 hardware, but still unable to play the game after it being exchanged 5 5 times. They did not help whatsoever, and offered to charge me almost $200 for a repair on a system that passed all hardware tests, or wait forever for Naughty Dog to give an answer. After asking why I should be responsible for any repairs when my system works fine with ALL other games & movies, they told me there was no way to cancel the charges.

I asked her why Sony would jepordize a faithful and loyal customer who spends much more per month than the repair would cost, and their only response was "It's something we cannot do." So unfortunately for Sony they will be loosing a customer over this.
