Hi, I was wondering if anybody else was having issues with the disc...

Firstly, the PS3 itself only recognises the disc 50% of the time, all of my other games are fine.

Secondly, when I first insert the disc, after a few seconds the disc reader makes an awful clunking noise, as if it was being ejected (but it isn't)/

Thirdly, some cut-scenes in the game refused to work, with freezing and/or froze picture with sound frequent problems.


Is this a common problem? I'm worried that it's breaking my PS3, and as I rented the game, I'm worried that it could be doing long-term damage and I won't have the disc by the time the effects on my PS3 show which might mean the problem can't be troubleshooted, or it can't be proved that U3 did this to me console.

Am I the only person whose PS3 actually makes clunking noises after the UC3 disc has been inserted?

Have the same freezing issues, except on Chapter 22 towards the end of the game.

I have a UK 320GB slim with the latest firmware, can someone at ND or Sony PLEASE just acknowledge these problems instead of leaving us in the dark?

Just out of curiosity. As i said earlier the game data size is only 71kb but should be around 2000mb.

Is anyone elses game data size smaller then it should be?

Perhaps this could be the problem. The game data isn't being installed properly for some ppl causing the game to freeze/not work, etc.

in update to my previous post... it seems my brother has been getting similar problems and my ps3 has started to cut out during multiplayer... and i dont know if anyone else has been getting the same problem but instead of freezing my ps3 turns itself off and the red light blinks... anyone else had this happen? ...i'd like to know that i'm not the only one getting the problem like this.

ps3: premium (60gig fat)

tried annother disc: yes. my brothers copy of uc3... have played uc2 and every other game i have including other games which all work fine.

note: i have had a look at the bottom of the uc3 disc as some of you have and noticed that it seems warped and poor quality... i looked at the bottom of the discs on many of my other games and they have a mirror sheen... seems that the company shipping blu-ray discs to sony/nd sent out a dodgy batch and we got slapped with them

Yes...I have all these same issues. I noticed yesterday that the file size was 219kb and said to myself that was too small. Thank you for confirming that part. This is the main problem...its having trouble installing the game...fully. Please help!!!

On my third copy of this game...all other games work fine. Tried deleting corrupted files. Tried deleting game data and reinstall (many times). Bought a Blu Ray lens cleaning disc (ran that thru about 10 times). Tried installing another game. Tried vertical position with PS3. Just tried the new patch 1.01. Guess what??? Not a damn thing has changed! Thanks alot for not even acknowledging this issue yet Sony and ND. I guess I should just bite the 60 bucks.

Look at a patch... for 3D.. in the comments ND says their working on other patches still

That is good well for the 3D part!

How about the LOADING SCREEN a lot of us our stuck!

Im frustrated as a gamer happen on that day, i love Uncharted series....

Anyway would NAUGHTY DOG will give us a patch that fix that ERROR on the loading screen so we can play peacefully enjoy Uncharted without any errors!

Get me back ASAP!
