Re: Unplanned PSN Maintenance in Progress

Wasn't last years infamous hacking fiasco called "Unplanned Maintenance" at first? :smileysurprised:

Conspiracy theories FTW.

Re: Unplanned PSN Maintenance in Progress

That was completely different. There's no hacking going on. Just maintenance :smileywink:

The whole networks been hacked and all your passwords are now on the back of a Pizza Hut menu.

^That's all it takes to start a rumour. Never go by the rubbish people come out with unless there's anything official to back it up :smileywink:

(Just to cover my arse) I'm not official :smileywink: I don't work for Sony and don't represent them or their views in any way! :smileytongue:

As far as I know, there's rumours of another exploit found in the PSP emulator allowing unsigned code to be run. However this won't affect the PlayStation Network as the PSP emulator runs sandboxed and effectively all they've done is break into a door that was already open.

The network is safe and all is well, it's just a bit unstable at the moment and is probably still being worked on by a dedicated team. (Read as: A team locked in a room and promised coffee to reward their work :smileytongue: )

Re: Unplanned PSN Maintenance in Progress

I'm not anything here xD I just voluntarily help out!

Rest assured the network will be nice and stable again soon :smileyhappy: Don't worry about it!
