Update 3.61 causing my PS3 to freeze

At first I thought it was just L.a noire because of the problems people have been having with it but now I know that sonys botched update is the cause since fifa11 now freezes, Can not play one game with out it crashing.

Every thing was fine before, And there is no point sending to be repaired since the update is the cause, So what you doing to fix this?

Do you know that this update is causing alot of peoples systems to freeze? And when is a knew update out?

Xloox.
Not sure if it was you I suggested the safe boot too on a different thread?

* YLOD? * *PSN Connection Problems?* *Blu Ray Problems

And we weren't even testing for that..

Re: Update 3.61 causing my PS3 to freeze

If it's the same problem many people have had since 3.61, the safe boot process doesn't fix it, whether you just do the option 3 repair or a full restore to factory settings including hard drive wipe.  Still stays broken unfortunately.
