I've been looking around and have found various articles to do this so I can use Ad-Hoc Party, although none of them are working. I have found my DNS server and have all the network information entered into the PS3 and have opened the web and internet sharing in preferences and it comes up with a DNS error.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to resolve this? (And would you enter the details of the router or ethernet connection into the PS3?)

I've checked that and it still doesn't work. Do you think it would matter if the wireless router (AirPort) was not connected to a computer and is directly connected to the modem?

The wireless router is linked to the Mac, and the PS3 is then connected via ethernet to the Mac. The wireless router connects directly to the modem. It comes up with Error 8070102 which it says is a DNS error.

To close the thread, after looking further for Xbox 360 tutorials I have found one that works!
