I went onto the PSN store on my PS Vita (connected by wifi)

and went to the PSP game section

and tried to download the "Loco Roco Demo" PSP game (which is Free)

and after it downloads onto my Vita

it then says it is installing on my Vita

and then after that msg goes away

I can not find the icon for the game on my Vita at all and therefore can't play the game !!!

Has anyone else got this problem?

I know its a free demo of a PSP game but if its on the store and is able to be downloaded (using up my internet data) then it should be at least playable (for a demo anyway)

Also as a side note (not really sure if this is needed)

i only 2 places that even mention the Loco Roco Demo PSP game

is in the Downloads section (saying it has been added to the home screen, which is HAS NOT)

and If i go to Settings then App Data Management then Add-On Data (PSP)

then it shows "LocoRoco Downloadable Demo" 8032KB (and the download was 11mb)

Experienced the same issue. I don't think PSP demos are compatible with the Vita. So I was surprised to see that there. Problem is that now I can't delete it.

I was curious about this so I had a go at downloading it myself.

Sure enough, same problem. The demo is nowhere to be found.

It seems a trivial thing, but a lot of people are going to try downloading this because it's almost the only feee downloadable PSP 'game' on the Vita's store. So it's a great way to see how PSP games work on the Vita without paying anything.

As a minimum it should be removed from the Vita store until the issue is resolved (if it can be resolved)

The only other 'free' PSP game I'm aware of is the Ape Quest Starter Pack. I'll try downloading that and see if it's any better...

Yep, at a very, very quick glance, Ape Quest Starter Pack is fine. So if you're looking for a free PSP game to see how they work on the Vita, go for that one instead of the LocoRoco demo.

I didn't try the locoroco demo, but the full game on PS Vita works great!
