Vita analog sticks again - deadzone?

[ Edited ]

My Vita is nearly 3 week and now i discovered (don't know if it was like this from beginning, thats why I'm asking) that the analog sticks have a little 'hardware' deadzone in the center - I mean they can wiggle a little in the center position (very little) to the left and right, but not up and down. Is this normal?

Thanks

Hi cMonry,

This is normal, I have looked at a number of Vitas and the sticks have a small amount of give left and right in the standard position. It should not cause any issues when it comes to gameplay.

Re: Vita analog sticks again - deadzone?

Indeed I can confirm that all the Vitas I've used do have this too, however if you think the deadzone on your Vita is larger than normal, go to your nearest GAME or GameStation (or similar store) and ask if you can compare with theirs, or simply ask a friend :smileytongue:
