I purchasd 'alice - madness returns' on ebay with the free download and the code wouldnt work, so i contacted the seller and they said i have to change the country (to i think it was singapore) which i have since found out that it isnt possible to do. I decided to just to part with the 15 bucks and buy 'american mcgees alice' that i thought would work with the game i have, but it wont.... is there anyway to get the download that is compatable with the disc that i have??

NEVER purchase download codes from eBay EVER EVER EVER.

Either go to GAME and buy vouchers or disks, or buy from the PlayStation Store.

Regrettably, unless this was a retailer there isn't a way of being able to get the code for this. Buying from another user may mean the code has either been used, or is designed to work in a different territory (this can't be changed).

if i were to buy the 'madness returns' game that is compatable with the download of american mcgees alice, will all the trophies and gameplay saved points that i have completed work, or will i have to start again??

The only way it will all work is if the code, your game and the PSN account are all from the same region. Save data is usually tied to the region of the disk so a US save won't work with an EU disk. Trophies aren't an exact art though. They probably will carry between versions, though I can't guarantee that either.

This is why it's always best to buy within your region and to be sure of what you're buying

thanks for that.... i guess i will have to start again if i buy it again, oh well , i will will wait till i clock it then buy it... i will play it again anyways cos its an awesome game!
