You could try putting your PS3 into a DMZ.

Did nothing for me
and i am over it as this is the only game that dont work online and i have tryed every other thing they have said and have been trying to deal with it but reading alot of threads and im now on day 2 or 3 of that and still nothing that works gggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so over it what a waist of money even cost me AU$30 to port forward it and at the best that did was fix the lag for a day and now lag is back hard core gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

black ops doesnt open the right ports. if you have modern warfare 2 put it in your ps3 go to play on line when you get to the menu that gives you the option to pick the game type you want to play online eject the disc. then put black ops in. it works. Black ops is ***** the latest download broke my fat console and my slim console can no longer play jungle.
