anybody else getting the freezing and crashing when playing black ops on the old fat model ps3 or has my ps3 come to the end of it's gaming life

its the game mate , its happening on slims and fats, so dont worry your ps3 is fine , the game does this more than fallout 3 , its down to those game developers at treyarch, thats released a very shoddy buggy game

Its the game not your PS3.

I had problems and deleting and reinstalling game data helped me. I don't get freezing anymore but other problems are still there.

Need to wait new update.

arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh  looks like its killed my ps3!!!!!!!! since yesterday it only manages 15 mins before it crashes regardless off what games on but ive no ylod so dont know whats gone wrong with it   does anyone know if i get a new ps3 if i can transfer my trophies over? cos thats the way its looking......................god i miss my ps3

Mine has been doing it for 2 days and has been driving me mad... i have spent all day tweaking with internet settings and trying loads of different things, i have checked my internet upload and download speedsand they are fine so i know it's the game i hope they come up with a quick fix soon as it really taking the pee now... some very annoyed cod fans i sure...

It's affecting all models of PS3, Treyarch AND Activision released a game that was not fit for release and they knew it.

Since the recent update my PS3 (latest model) freezes whilst playing multiplayer (not tried campaign or zombies) , it happens every 10 minutes or so, I have to press the off button to reset the machine.

I've also noticed a lot of disc noise when black ops is playing, I can see a massive law suit against Activision if they don't get it sorted soon

defo its the game. doin same on m8s fat 60gb my fat 40gb (upgraded to 320gb) & m8s 320gb slim. keeps freezing & losing connection. its doin our heads in. there woz a recent  25mb update. but that aint dun nowt. treyarch owt 2 hurry up & sort this out qwick.

Yeah i noticed ther was alot of disc noise .. glad it's not just me.. today when i done internet test it was on about ip fragments, done more tweaking and have finally managed to play a game.. how long i am online for i don't know... lets hope it's longer than ten mins.

The annoying thing is the people who should be resolving or at least trying to resolve the matter seem to be doing diddly swot....

Really hope somit gets sorted SOON SOON SOON...
