its my first post.. and im rather new to PS3 too
im from estonia, and when i bought ps3 i set it up as i'm from finland because there wasnt an option for estonians... i figured that the best option is to choose the closest country - now all emails are in finnish ![]()
don't know what to do, who to contact.. would like to chat with someone from their side, but couldn't find such support option
any help is welcome...

You picked the wrong country.
Create a NEW account and pick a Country THAT only has 1 language in a EU language you can read...
As it said on the store... PSN ID and LOCATION can not be changed..
PSN store is not supported in your country and wont be untill economics make financal sense...
theres no point Sony paying of a goverment legal system that may not be there in <2 years.

thanks. i was afraid, i might have to do that... gonna lose my name though![]()
i thought, if i had a chance to talk to sony support, that i can't read finnish, and only chose that for some reasons i cant remember now... well it was the closest country, but it wasn't the only reson, they might change it somehow... but it's a pity PS store doesn't work!!!

You can't use UK as the UK has localisation on some titles which will not be released in EU and does not use Euros. you would have to use Pound sterling PSN cards.
Germany is the same boat it has region specific censorship.
Pick 1 of the other 3 EU Prime countries
Spain, France, or italy.

Does this mean that... when I move to a new country, I cannot update my present account with my new address/country details?
This would mean any usage of my current PSN account after a legitimate move would suddenly be in breach of Sony's T&Cs.
Yes moving location loses you access to New Regional Copyrighted content.
You can keep the Old content payed for And you can Use the PSN ID but you can't legaly get any more new content on the PSN ID as you dont live there.
It all depends how perminant the move is...
Examples for UK.
You do not have any legal rights to Use UK Vidzone content Out side UK. (Enforced buy IP address filters in application)
Same with BBC IPlayer. ( that will change as Iplayer becomes Pay to play out side UK)
Movie store use is restricted to only 7 EU areas and NA. (Enforced buy IP address filters in PSN store. )
Net flix goes buy buy. ( DNS filter )

I realise I would only be eligible for HK content after that time. That doesn't worry me. I'm just wondering if I could change address to my upcoming HK address, and from that point on, retain my old account and trophies, etc.
Nope
Account location is locked.
HK Content can be Downloaded on HK account then played on another account But theres no telling when PSN ID locked content may turn up like GT5 did. you would then be locked to the HK account.
Like all HOME content currently is... PSN ID locked as well as PS+ game saves ...
