Ive got two ps3 60gb and i want to know how can i transfer saved game data between the two consoles,ive tried using a portable harddrive but when i connected it to the other console it just said no data ,anyone help?cheers

The easiest way, seeing as you have 2 60gb systems is to use memory cards, SD, CF or MS Pro DUO. Thats what I used to do before mine mysteriously stopped working Go to the game saves and press triangle (I think) then just copy them to the card.

Sometimes it won't work because different games have different codes on the disc and the folder created in the hardrive will be lbp12121 whereas a different would may be lbp13221

So basically use a sd and copy 2 of them

wish they'd make it so you can send attachments with messages via PSN. then you could send save data, replays, etc.

thanks for the replys ,can someone tell me the exact type of sd memory card i need ,and were to get one ,im in the uk.

Any SD (Secure Digital), CF (Compact Flash) or MS PRO DUO will work with the PS3 (I'm not sure what other cards it reads/accepts).

Amazon is always a good place for Memory Cards, either that or MyMemory who are also pretty cheap. I would recommend Sandisk cards for reliability and price (although Lexar are also good). In my opinion I wouldn't by own branded cards (MyMemory etc.) as they won't last as long. I would also say that I would always buy the biggest card that I can afford and that I also only buy cards that I have other devices for. (ie. If I didn't have a camera that took SD cards - which I do - I wouldn't buy SD cards, same for all other types, I only started buying MS Pro Duo as I bought a PSP)

have you tried a usb memory stick or portable hardrive,that should work.
