my ps3 wont turn on. Help

ok im watching a dvd on my 40gb ps3 and suddenly it just turns off. So i turn off my ps3 by its main then turn it back on but i noticed dat the red light is not on i press the power button and the green light comes up then beeps 3 times then turns back off. Any help on how to fix it?

sounds suspiciously like a YLOD failure I'm afraid.

have a read of the link in my sig line below.
