no power

my ps3 will not power up i have checked all the cords tried alternate power cords and still nothing. I have no standby light neither, can you please help?

There are a few other things you can try in this power problem torubleshooting guide  You can also contact PlayStation Support for further assistance. 

 

It may be that the console is faulty and in need of service but its worth trying the above first.
