hi,

was playing my game tiger woods 12 which froze while playing the other day and i could not do anything no controls responded at all, it wouldnt even let me reset with the power button hold for a few seconds?? so i turned it off straight form the back. Now ive just turned on my playstion and it goes to the hdmi screen but there is nothing there no picture nothing even tho the green light is on and the playstation sounds like its on??

please can you help me with this

Never EVER EVER EVER turn it off from the back! D:

Hold the front power button for about 15 seconds and the machine powers off. Try a display reset by holding the power button until the system beeps for a second time. That should bring your display back

ive tried this i turn on the playstation and soon as i hold down the power button after about a few seconds it turns off so only one beep??? and goes back to normal tv, there is no second beep if i hold it cos it turns the playstation off?? please help!!!!!!!!

If it turns off straight away, wait approximately 5 seconds, then try again and see if you can hold it until it double beeps. (BEEPBEEP, rather than just BEEP) That should put it in safe mode

i got it to double beep once but still the same problem, no picture, also the controller doest recognise it anymore as it just flashes onto so cant use that, what can i do??

ok got it in safe mode after the 2 beeps now what option do i select??? please get back to me asap

Try a different HDMI cable, or even a scart cable, and try connecting to a different TV and see if any of those result in a picture.

i got a picture now in safe mode but dont know what option to select ???? 1-6 ???
