Why are PC games generally cheaper than console games? On shopto, I can see skyrim is about £10 less on PC.

i think its to do with the way Pc's work like in a few months a new game is going to come out which will need a more powerful PC to run on full SPECS so people then have to go out and buy new hardware. if you had to do that you wouldnt want to then spend £30-£50 on a new title would you. so it makes sense to make it cheaper for the Pc gamers out there

Nobody owns the PC market, so you don't have to pay anyone if you want to release your game. Unlike consoles, where you have to pay Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo, for permissions and developer kits etc...
