I'm not mocking people, I'm saying that people have completed this game and got the platinum, and then there are others like me still enjoying it so how can it be ''completely'' broken?

Completely broken means it wouldn't work out of the box. It wouldn't play, you wouldn't be able to do a single quest! How can I be 80 hours into a completely broken game???

The wording used is incorrect. By no means am I defending this game, it's crashed, froze and corrupted one of my save files. But that doesn't mean its completely broken at all. It has issues yes and they effect some more then others.

If my car was running on 3 cylinders and I had to drive it from A to B, it would not be classed as completely broken. Nor is this game.

It was the most ''played'' game of 2011, it won the VGA's game of the year and its Christmas No 1. Completely broken games don't get that far!

I totally agree with this. I have played for about 50 hours and its not gone wrong. I had slow downs, I had freezes, but people saying its a broken game is wrong. I got the game 3 days before release and have loved it, loved every minute.

There are going to be problems. You cant make a omlet with out cracking eggs. Its a massive game, do people for get this. Its bound to have bugs and problems. If you dont like it dont play the game, go play something else or get it on another platform.

Im not sure if this has anything to with the lag, but the people that are having the lag problems are your hard drives full. I have about 23GB free and it runs perfect.

Anyway im now booting up my working, lovely Skyrim.

I really wished you had posted this information sooner. Thousands of PS3 users who are suffering crippling lag issues on this game could have been spared all that anguish had they known that your game 'RUNS PERFECT'. Cor silly old us, thinking we had major technical  issues with our game when all along your game 'RUNS PERFECT'. If only Bethesda had known that your game 'RUNS PERFECT' they could have saved themselves all that time feverishly spent trying to patch the phantom problem that doesn't exist because your game 'RUNS PERFECT'

Thankfully, now that you have posted the solution to this problem=  'If you dont like it dont play the game, go play something else or get it on another platform.'  We can all throw our £40 games in the bin and take comfort in the fact that your game 'RUNS PERFECT'

Yes for the me the game I have, which im now about to play runs well. like I stated in my post, I had problems, I have had bugs, lags and small problems, but nothing on the scale your describing. Im glad you highlighted the fact my game works prefect. Shows me you ignored the start of my post, where I do say about the problems I have had. Also the fact is you have picked up on my post, just mine. Have a look through the thread its getting mixed views. I am not the only one who is saying this game is running fine. I see in your first post you state the game as broken, Unplayable. Its not. a unplayable game is broken when you cant load the game up, where the game will not load.

Sort your own post out before talking down about mine!

Oh dear, where do i start

Firstly, you DID state that your game 'RUNS PERFECT' and yes you also stated it has 'bugs, lags and small problems' so which is it? you are obviously confused?

Secondly, the reason i picked up on your post was that it was total drivel. You deliberately trivialise the game crippling issues some people are having with the game by stating, and i quote 'You cant make a omlet with out cracking eggs' and the solution to their problems (if they exist) is' If you dont like it dont play the game, go play something else or get it on another platform'.

Thirdly, i know the game can play ok for some people, i already stated that fact, it seems to be a 50/50 chance of it working well or not. My game (and many many other peoples) is now unplayable, the lag is so bad that the game is broken. I really enjoyed it up to that point and i'm glad i played it but i'm angry that for me my game can no longer be played. So i dont really appreciate you butting in with your F*** you jack i'm alright attitude.

Re: Buying Skyrim

... Moving on from the arguments in this thread..

I have just recieved this game in the post, ordered from ShopTo (as ever). £32 didn't seem too bad! It's just installing now, looking forward to a new RPG and a big map, never played any of the others.. Just hope that'll be okay! I'll let you know how I find it later tonight!

Re: Buying Skyrim

[ Edited ]

It truly is an awesome game, maybe you will be one of the lucky ones not to suffer too many problems. Most people who suffer the severe lag, start noticing it slightly as their save file hits the 8MB size. So you should have much fun until that point and then hopefully beyond too. Fingers crossed

Yeah, loving it so far! Also enjoying throwing dead bodies into rivers/down mountain sides watching them. Sick, or just have too much time on my hands after work? :smileyvery-happy:

Somehow happened to have everybody on my case at the beginning though. I think I stole something, then killed a bloke who was trying to get me because of it.. (No idea if that'll cost me later in the game for killing a character..) Had to google it in the end and realise I need to go to jail!

Love it so far though, no idea where the bad comments are coming from!

Re: Buying Skyrim

The bad comments are not directed at the game itself as most people myself included love the game. Its the fact that after weve invested all that time in the game we are no longer able to play it due to the major lag issues. I'm now on my second playthrough and this one has started to lag as well, so i know the end is probably near for this playthough as well. Twice my game started the lag issue slightly at the 8MB mark.

Re: Buying Skyrim

ive actually had more problems with fallout 3 and NV put together than skyrim
'Obaachan ga Itteita: "Ten no michi o Iki, Subete o Tsukasadoru otoko."
Tendō Sōji!'

'Grandmother said this: "Walking the path of Heaven, the man who will rule everything." Tendou Souji!'
