I can't believe it !

Good Morning Everyone

Well Having played Oblivion and Skyrim and knowing about the bugs and glitches, I thought I'd  made my self save from corrupt  save data as I had a numbered of save,

But No I lost about six saves last night losing my main game character a level 42 Khajiit archer,

Well I'm due to restart today after deleting all Skyrim data from my PS3,

I'm going to go with A Nord fighting with a sword and shield, So If any has any tips about a good build or equipment that would be great.

Thanks

Re: I can't believe it !

Unusual that you lost more then one file  I had a few but when mine froze while autosaving I only lost that file, all my manual saves were ok thank god.

Turning auto save off and I haven't had any problems with corrupted data when it freezes. Which are getting bad in certain areas now so I hope this patch that is incoming actually fixes or at least helps.

word of warning here; if you start a new game and just level your smithing, it can skew the game's levelling system as your combat skills will be severely less that those of the enemies you face

tl:dr enemies will get really tough really fast

yeah, its best to level up smithing at the same sort of pace you level up your one handed or 2 handed skill, that way the enemys won't get difficult to quick.

Best idea is to play the game as normal really (as in as normal as if you didn't know about the smithing quick leveling), but also add in some smithing in between quests (at the end of the day your gonna have to find the materials to smith with in the first place so you might as well get your combat up whilst your at it).
