Re: Skyrim Small Talk

update.... just hit level 50, and have saved 100000 gold! 1 trophy left to get (which will be done on a restart after the patch is released).

Re: Skyrim Small Talk

Nice work Devastator. I'd delete your install and try regardless of a patch and just build up to the point and see how it goes?

My trophy count is 76% but most of that will be from doing a series of quests upon completion, and then the crime ones for having bounty in all the holds which I'll leave until last anyway.

Re: Skyrim Small Talk

Finally completed the main quest today, and was a tad disappointed with the end of it! Up to level 57 after around 160 hours played and still need to finish off several more quest before completing.

hmmm, i might go for it, not sure yet. Gonna take a break from skyrim for a few days at least... kind of spent a lot of time on it recently and my brain feels like its melted!! Maybe after that i might give it a go and see what happens.

Re: Skyrim Small Talk

I find myself rushing through dungeons a bit more now, and running from dragons because I just can't be arsed. I don't need the loot any more and Ionly pick up odds and sods like gems etc.

I still love playing but only the important parts of the game now, I think its because I want it to come to an end so I can move on, what with MGS Collection and Twisted Metal around the corner.

kinda know what you mean by that. I am pretty sure i will have the platinum by the time my next big game comes out (mass effect 3..... can't wait!!!), and i have mw3, bf3 and gears of war 2 and 3 to distract me occaisonally when i need a break from skyrim.

Re: Skyrim Small Talk

Christ I'm hoping to have my platinum by the time my next big game comes out - MGS Collection next week! :smileyvery-happy:

I've been thinking tho, once I get the platinum I will still have loads left to do, but I'll most likely wash my hands of the game for the time being and move on, which could mean I'll find it hard to go back to some other time. I mean having no trophies left and wasting time on misc quest just wont be the same really.. I did originally want to complete everything like I've told you in another topic, but realistically I don't think that will happen now as I do feel a little rushed to get the important things done now.

I think I wasted too much time in the beginning as then I never wanted the game to end.

i know what you mean on continuing after the platinum!! I am not sure what will happen once i get it.... i might continue afterwards, i just don't know yet (only game i can compare it to in terms of platinum is DIRT2 (my only other platinum), and i never played that again after getting the platinum.)

Certainly think its possible i will go back to it... guess i am just gonna have to wait and see.

Re: Skyrim Small Talk

[ Edited ]

I'm a level 62 Nord called Strider. I've maxed Enchanting, Smithing and Sneak with my lowest being Block at 57. EDIT: Forgot to add that I've been playing for 171.36.15.

I started out as sneaky archer with one-hand + destruction when detected using heavy armour (steel) and then went on to light armour (elven) when I learned how to smith it. Now get my stats up a bit more I've switched to two-handed and heavy armour again (ebony).

So far I've only completed one quest line, The College of Winterhold, with two others being glitched :-(. I haven't chosen a side in the civil war yet, but will probably go with the Stormclocks being a Nord.

This is probably right up there with my favourites games of all time, but misses out on top spot due to the bugs, which is a shame.
