Hey, i just got skyrim for christmas, i loaded it up, and everything worked fine. but when i chose to start a game, it showed the opening mist loadup of the dragon, then cut to a clip of a character dying, that cuts off and goes to the intro cutscene saying bethesda but then takes me back to the menu. ive tried loads of times but it's always the same, what do i do?

Delete all game data, re-install and try again. If no success after then return it. I got Skyrim today too and I haven't had any problems.

thanks, i think i know what went wrong now, ill give it a try. i did get a new ps3 today aswel so it might just be that, i had to quit durin instillation aswel so its probably one of those

There's the issue right there. Never quit during an install as things can happen.
