After finishing the first trilogy of the Chronicles of New Marais series, I have decided to take a break from making long, heavily complicated narrative missions with Continuity Lockout, and instead make a few more simplistic battle missions, with a brand new mechanic that gives it an interesting twist. The first mission in this collection is called Switch! and has already been uploaded.
Switch!:
I must say it is satisfying to have a fun mission up and running in only a few hours, as opposed to the several days it took to program my other missions. It is refreshing to bring my ideas to life in such a short time. I realized that what I am doing is the opposite of the level of progression in learning how to make misssions: to start making simple ones and then start making complicated ones. However, when I started, I never had any simple mission ideas that were unique and not boring, and any mission like that is not worth making. So look out for 3 more quick, fun missions coming from me in the coming week.

Sometimes I fond the simpler ideas can take just as long to complete as the long, drawn-out narratives. Got Switch queued, as we speak.

If anybody is interested in where I got the idea for the mission Switch!, I got it from episode 172 of Beach: "Kibune Goes to War! The Violent Wind that Rages" from the The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc. You can see where it is from here: http://www.hulu.com/watch/212600/bleach-172 at 7:08.

After sitting on it for months, I finally finished up and posted my mission Spiker Stomp. RetroSteveUK, I think you in particular would really like this mission, or at least find it interesting, mechanically. It involves platforms that launch Cole into the air. The mission is more of a prototype/concept demonstration to me now... I've spent so much time on this really short mission that I've completely lost sight of whether it is fun or not, so suggestions here would be a big help here.

Yep, played it already and I liked it.
