OK. I guess this is going to be a small rant thread.
I would just like to know why this forum doesn't get the attention it deserves. The UGC is really the only way to continue the replay value of the game and the members of this forum make some of the best UGC.So why is our site still broken.
The site needs an update badly. I have been visiting this forum regularly for a while now and the log in is still broken. The only log in that works is on the front page. Waiting for the slide show ads to load every time is getting old. Try to go back to the missions page and you have to log in again. Why should we have to go through the age gate and the log in every time we follow a link to someone's mission? I think the log in issue discourages more visits to this site, not just from the members of this forum, but from SP as well.
Speaking of visits from SP, why is there no posts from SP concerning the new DLC pack, and the release of Festival of Blood? Sure they gave us an ad on the first page, but no official announcement from SP on the forum. Moderators are non-existent.
SP will you please fix this site so members can come straight to the forum and log in one time? Navigating this site is annoying.
I got a great idea..Get Tim back. Offer him more money, wash his car every morning and walk his dog at lunch.

Tentatively, I agree. So far the glitches and runarounds are something I've found annoying, but I've overlooked them for the sake of getting in to the forum. I guess there are many who would be put off. I'm guessing the issues have something to do with the fact that the login is the official PSN login and it has to work in unison with this site. Bringing the two together probably has its issues; maybe out of the hands of Sucker Punch and more the responsibility of Sony?

THANK YOU.
I'm glad someone else recognizes these problems too. I guess Sony/Sucker Punch doesn't feel like inFamous is an important enough series for them to make a fully functional website and UGC layout.

I agree the forum definately need work.
I found the easiest way for me to get online is by going to the Community/UGC Missions page and bookmark it. I use that bookmark to come to the site, select Sign In, put in email and password. From there I can add mission to my queue and/or go to the forums to post. It seems to be the quickest way in.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that next time.

Compared to the SPP forum this one is a bit tedious to log in because I usually have to go to the main page on the website to log in without any problems. Which is a shame because it has a actual dedicated UGC forum here, that and the atmosphere is a lot better.

What? You don't like all the middle school kids who misspell everything and constantly argue with each other? ![]()

Bnfd... You just stole the words right out of my mouth. SPP forums has turned into a bunch of kids whining over their need for E3 Cole, and more UGC content. Sadly, it is much more active than these forums, so I do still visit those forums. But, back on topic:
This site has become a little tedious to log into. The log in really needs to be worked on, as well as the loading of the actual site.

LOL.
Or the 16 page discussions about why Kous hair is blue?
Entering this forum through the missions page is a bit faster.
