As you may have read in the other topic my second mission isn’t getting nearly the amount of plays my first mission did “The Conduit Child” and a lot of people think the new mission has a boring name “The Incorruptible Corrupted” a few people said this sounded like a boring mission they would gloss over, unlike “The Conduit Child”
Personally I’m a big fan of the name but I’m not one to ignore feedback - and I want to get more plays.
So if you have played IC please give any suggestions you might have for a better name, if you have not played it but own inFamous then I suggest you play it (Just google the title and my username and you’ll find a link) otherwise if you have no intention of playing it but wish to suggest a better name here is a general overview of what happens:
(Highlight to more easily read spoilers)
Cole is messaged by Zeke who tells him there is a swamp monster nesting in the clock tower – Cole weeps the city and eventually finds the monster about to attack a woman. The monster runs off but Cole chases him when he realizes that he can talk – when he finally catches up Cole learns that the swamp monsters were all once human.
The monster states that Cole must kill him to protect people, as his monster instincts are returning - Cole being the hero that is counters this demand and instead tracks down the scientist which gave the monster his humanity back, to see if it is possible to turn the swamp monsters back human.
Cole finds the scientist and helps him in perfecting his machine - but the scientist betrays him and it is revealed that the machine was never meant to turn the swamp monsters human, but control them to be an army he can take over the city with.
Cole defeats this army but Zeke informs him of the disturbing news that the swamp monster he befriended “James” has gone on a massacre and has tore up a street killing people and children.
Cole is forced to meet with him one last time and puts an end to the monsters misery as he willingly allows himself the be killed.

I just has a thought -
The golden rules for editing your mission were to leave it in the same place and not edit the title - were they not? If i change the title of my mission is it going to make a duplicate of it and treat it as a new mission? If that's the case it would mean my mission would no longer be featured, it might not be worth it if that is the case.

Renaming a mission does not upload it as a duplicate, unless there is some sort of catastrophic glitch. I tested renaming when working with my test mission "Aftér Love". I renamed it from "After Love" (where it was displayed as "***** Love") to "Aftér Love" and it worked just fine. If your unsure, you can make a test mission for yourself and see how renaming it goes.

From the outset of UGC, since the Beta, renaming missions has resulted in duplicate missions on the server. This may have changed since one of the updates, but I haven't heard info released on the subject, so I'd presume it's still the case. For now I'd follow GameForce's advice and upload a test mission then rename it, (as long as you don't mind having those test missions on your profile list - perhaps you could make a really simple collect-em-up to test the uploads, so you don't just have a blank mission on your list?)

Um...this thread is almost four months old. I'm sure he's figured out what to do by now.![]()

Don't think so. If you've checked, he hasn't renamed his mission.

He probably decided not to rename it...FOUR MONTHS AGO. ![]()

He can still change his mind, and now that he has new data, he can make a more informed decision.
