When you place the cursor on an object hit x on it. A selector wheel will appear with options to move, delete etc. (I think it's X). It's one of those things I've come to do without thinking about it.

I know this has been asked on here before, but I can't seem to find the page that has what I'm looking for.
How can I stop blocks from reacting to bombs? I want to make something surrounded by blocks explode, but I don't want the blocks to react to the explosion. I tried making them immune to damage, and I set a physics modifier to "fixed," but it didn't seem to help.

bnfdhfdhfd,
I remember the post you are talking about. If I remember correctly there wasn't a solution for this. I'll see if I can find it or try to see if I can get it to work.
I enjoy the missions you make and look forward to what you got in the works.
I always read your name as blindfold in my head. The spellchecker suggests a change it to Offhanded. lol

I'm not sure what spellcheck suggests for me, I added my name ![]()
Anyway, I looked through a couple threads and didn't find a clear solution, so I found a workaround. I moved the bomb out of range of the blocks, and set the bomb to detonate and the object to be removed from the world at the same time. I still get the flash of light and the "boom" sound, and the object goes away. It's not a perfect solution, but it works in this case.
As for what I'm working on, I don't like being secretive, but I think I should in this case. Stay tuned... ![]()

I have a big problem with Switches. I am trying to do a scenario where you have to heal civilians and beat ice guys to continue, but the problem is no matter which settings i set the switch on, It seems to continue by only me doing one things. I try to set it up where you can do both in any order, but it still doesn't work. and yes, i use BOTH settings with the switch and they do NOT work the way the UGC tutorials say.

Paradox,
I believe what you need here is not a switch but a combiner. The combiner icon looks like two arrows coming together. It has 4 inputs and one output. Set the combiners option to "and". You'll also need two monitors, one set to look for when the civilians are healed and one set to look for when the ice men are defeated. Plug both of these into the combiner. The output or the combiner will only trigger when both conditions are true.

The main problem with switches is that they can be triggered only once.
If you want many conditions to be met by the player, I recommend that you use combiners.
Connect both monitors to the combiner, that way, the player will have to heal the civilians and beat the ice guys to continue.

Hmm, that's odd, the logic is right.
I'm sorry Jedicam, but I just have to ask... did you double check monitors? connections? groups?
