In the documentation, it says:

Normally, when an event is distributed to a child widget, the touch data is not distributed to the parent widget. Touch data is distributed only to the touched widget.

However, I have seen for various combinations of parent and child widgets that receive touch, that both get information, and that the parent usually wins too. I tried a scrollpanel widget in a pages panel, and a slider widget in a scrollpanel widget. 

This is both in the Simulator and on the Vita. Is this a bug, or am I msising something?

I tried to reproduce it in the UI Composer, and see the same behavior.

Thanks for your report of the problems. We are aware of these problems, especially with the ScrollPanel (probably due to the fact its listening in for horizontal gestures), and we are looking into them.
