Which do you prefer? I for one couldn't get a kill with a FAL to save my life, and I always seem to forget that its a burst fire weapon, so I sit there, holding down the trigger, 2 seconds later realizing, oh wait, where are the bullets?

I prefer the FAL because it's more accurate. Plus, I seem to do better with it.

FAL for me

It's a lot more accurate, and has much less recoil due to the burst fire. But, also sometimes forget I have it Which is rather annoying thinking 'Why the **** isn't firing?!'

Nothing beats the M4 though Pure win

Depends what I'm doing, single player or multiplayer. I usually use AK but will sometimes use FAL.

No competition, FAL wins everytime. I get rid of my AK as quick as I can whenever I respawn. The AK is ok for shooting from the hip but it's terrible at range compared to the FAL or M4. I find myself shooting the AK in bursts anyway to counter the massive recoil and how innacurate it is if you just hold down fire. With the FAL , I usually switch to pistol up close or use melee as it's hard to get run and gun kill with it. M4 is best all round gun for short and long range, the only disadvantage being no scope.

AK-47 for deathmatches....FAL for co-op.That's kind of a general rule for me.

As inaccurate as it is and with its massive recoil i still prefer the AK, i dont know why as i know the FAiL is more accuarate generally better i just seem to play better with the AK. My real fav though is the M4!

If you burst fire with the AK it's not too bad but the recoil is bad for it if you keep your firing on the trigger, the FAL is better, but if you try to play the AK as a FAL (i.e. burst) it's shortcomings aren't as bad.
