Favourite Aspect Of The Uncharted Games?

We all know how amazing this franchise is but what isit about Uncharted 1, 2 & 3 (when its relesaed) that makes them great games for you

For me it has to be the characters, the main three Drake, Elena & Sully are all so likeable and its hard to think of characters from other games that ive enjoyed watching more than them

So what about you?

I like the humor and the random banter, it gives the game its character.

Re: Favourite Aspect Of The Uncharted Games?

That is a really hard question. There's so many things that made the game so amazing. If I had to pick, I'll have to go with the characters. :smileytongue:

This.

As well as the locations, characters, set-pieces and action. It just all fits at works really well  up to ND

Got Uncharted Drakes Fortune in the post to play through the outtage. I only played it once at launch then traded it in as I was skint and wanted to play as many games as I could on my new PS3 :smileywink:

I barley remember much about it and with the trophy patch I missed it will be just like playing a new game (but with a few reminders of deja vu :smileyvery-happy:)

Re: Favourite Aspect Of The Uncharted Games?

Even now after like 4 years Uncharted 1 is one of my favourite games and it still looks incredible, i didnt know much about Naughty Dog because i never played Crash Bandicoot or Jak & Daxter

but now the whole world knows who they are and i cant wait to see what they do after Uncharted because asmuch as we hate to admit it the Unchated franchise cant go on forever

Re: Favourite Aspect Of The Uncharted Games?

for me the main thing that makes uncharted stand out from the other action adventure games on the market include:
- character depth
- stunning landscapes and areas to explore
- a developing game franchise which is constantly updating elements every time they have created a new uncharted game
- story sucks you in
- easy controls and great range of difficulties (we've all been there on crushing :smileytongue:)
- action action action
- the type of game you can play numerous times and still find new things

For me it's the story, characters, humour etc.  There's a sense of Indianna Jones/Dude Raider, but it's such a great world both visually and in a narrative sense in its own right (and arguably better than Tomb Raider).  Plus it plays brilliantly and it's great seeing how much research and effort they put into Uncharted from the on disc documentaries.

All of these, plus the music, it really helps build tension and fits into the platforming/action sequences well.
