I don't think the weapon is too overbalanced, but the potential is definately there. As someone else said, you have to be fairly good with your shots to hit someone, but as deserteagle pointed out, you can just shoot the wall behind someone or fire off at someones feet and still be pretty confident in getting a kill.
The problem with the weapon is the amount of ammo you get with it. 3 shots is pretty balanced, but then you'll come across a high level player with the boost for extra ammo and that's when the headaches happen.
Hasan, rebel, silver, harl and myself where in a match last night where this happened. There was a high level player running around killing us all. Granted, that was kinda the point of the match, but there were so many incidents where the teams were locked in head of firefights and he was able to rush in, fire off three shots, run out and still have ammo to spare. There was a particular incident where he was starting to rush our base and hasan, silver and myself came across him. We all opened fire with our mix of Aks and M4's and within half a second all three of us were looking at the respawn screen.
I dunno. On one hand, that's what the weapon is for, on the other, if you run into the situation where a high level player is running around with both the launcher and the boost, you're going to have an extremely difficult time killing him. The problem, imo, is the booster, if you exclude it, everything is pretty balanced.
EDIT: Apologies for the long post ![]()

If he didnt do that, we could have taken him out pretty easily
Yeah, I think that spawning your opponents' spawn zone is much worse than using the Hammer. If you've got to do that to win, you may as well start wearing your pants up around your ears, cause you like like a massive v@gina in doing it.
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to only be a favourite tactic of those who have reached Level 35+ in a short period of time.

Might I bring these up again - particularly Section 3.

The rules have been clearly written and Deagle is merely abiding.
I absolutely love this article. Probably best piece of gaming literature around.

Just be sneaky and double Pistole them in the back of the head. Crisis averted! ![]()
For the most part, I actually don't have a problem with anybody using the Hammer or the RPG because there are ways to counter it. I did get annoyed last night though when somebody killed me with the Hammer at point blank range and they didn't suicide as well. That was a major "*****?" moment for me.

It's actually an M32 launcher. Great whinge topic. Altho I do agree the Launch Man booster is abit overpowered. If it gave half the extra ammo I'd still use it.

not...
you'll absolutely love mine then. wait wait, before u start lol'ing the gold weapons don't count in weapon kill stats yet. I love how you affectionately label it the noobtube. Guess that makes you pro?
Anyway it's a tactic and I use it. Generally the higher level people hog it cos they know how long it takes to respawn and know how effective it can be.
Lol DashBob it's funny cos it's true.

Lol sneaky bugger, your on my team and you scare me with that thing!
About the M32, i was kinda close to a guy that wasnt moving or anything.
Just an idle player and i went to kill him (not cheap, he was like the last guy to end the round)
Anyway i shot him, absolutely no damage occured to him but i died.
AND IT SAID HE KILLED ME WITH THE M32! I was like w t f?
