With regards to certain rules and some of the other bits you've asked... I am guessing I will have more info for you as it becomes available. This one's not my tournament so I am guessing it'll be nailed down as these things/questions pop up. I'll be sure to pass on a mention about some of this.

But regardless of what is allowed/what the rules are etc I would really like for a lot of you to take part & I would especially like us to put on a good show against the European competition and for us to come out on top

It can be harder to locate their hitboxes when a good portion of where they'd be located isn't occupied by any polygons on the model. They also generally blend far better with the environment better than say, Drake with a red t shirt on.
They used to not make any sound either but I think they added sound to the skeletons since Uncharted 2. In Uncharted 2 they offered a huge advantage, it was really rather silly that they were even in the game.
