They will be able to play the complete single player part of the game. If PSN pass is implemented and you have redeemed the one off first buyer code then the online multi-player part would be unavailable to them; they would need to buy a pass.

I would assume that the pass is used on the master account and so it's usable by multiple sub accounts. Clearly if the accounts are separate master accounts they would be separate owners and so logically are different customers and so should pay separately.

I am Sure the Millions of Famlies with multiple children (Multiple Accounts) that have One Game Console in their home would agree with you.

@PsyFx: I am sure they would since the children would be on sub accounts to allow the parents to have parental control.

I don't think we have details about how psn pass works so it could work on a per console basis.

I'm afraid people this is how it's going in the game industry and you shouldn't be surprised by this as other companies have done i.e. ea, thq etc, now ubisoft are introducing a pass starting with driver san francisco

If the video game industry continues with new and innovative ways to Nickel & Dime you, forcing people to go though more and more unnecessary Hurdles / Annoyances to play software that they own,  Identity Theft, etc

This current trend (Greed) could to lead to an Eventual Loss of Consumer Confidence and cause another Video Game Crash similar to what happened in 1983.

On a side note I will most likely be cancelling 3 pre-ordered games (uncharted 3, twisted metal, starhawk) once I have confirmation of if these use psn pass or not.  Damn shame too I got a 33% off discount due to a great E3 pre-order deal

If there is going to be one, buy a new copy. You see, it's like the Mortal Kombat multiplayer pass or the NFS: Hot Pursuit multiplayer pass. I preordered it though.

I certainly hope the content is useable by multiple master account holders, like other add-ons & psn titles. I won't be buying 3 additional passes for each new game, having 3 kids in the household.
