I would like to state for the record that 99% (figuratively, of course) of the games I've played with random folks have been great. It's just that when I play with those who want to be disruptive, I notice them that much more because I'm not used to it. In fact, most of the people on my "friends list" are people who have sent friend requests to me after I played a few random Uncharted 2 and 3 rounds online with them.
If it were the case that the problem would be very common, I wouldn't even have bothered to mention it. You shouldn't be afraid of using the match finder function. Once in a while you'll end up with someone who wants to ruin the game, but when that happens, just leave the game and find another one.
With that being said, it's always nicer to play with people who you know will behave. Also, it's good to have a list of friends who you know use a mic. (In my experience, it's uncommon that people have/use mics when playing Uncharted online).

I thought this was the case too until last night when I was kicked right at the beginning of a match without a shot even being fired. How is this possible ( or even fair ) ??? If anyone has an explanation for this I'd be interested to hear it.
