Unit 13 has a multiplayer mode. It's for 2 player co-op and is compatible over adhoc (local) and infrastructure (internet, or PSN even).
I had the pleasure of playing the game in co-op last night with a pal (the Party app works wonders btw) and it really added a great teamwork aspect to the game. Normally when you get into some areas and parts of your mission you will discover that there can be multiple routes to approach the enemy, when you're playing with a bussy though you can keep both angles covered. It's kind of like Fireteam Bravo except theres someone controlling the other guy (yes, I do know that FTB3 had online co-op).

I forgot to take a screen but this is the one my pal tweeted at me. As you can see both of our scores contribute towards the overall one and that placement on the leaderboard is shared with me, so on my screen it also said I was ranked 19th.
When you set up the game there is no invite system, one of you hosts either a public or private game and the other searches. It's easier to make it private but the other player will only see your game listed if they are on your friends list or in your party. To make things easier you should form a party as when one game finishes you will need to re-host. THIS is why the party feature is so great, you can get parted from each other inj game but you're still together just outside of it. It's like when one of your friends gets chuck out of a nightclub while you're in the loo and he tries to call you and you can't hear him over the music? Nothing like that here.
So if you want to make new friends to play the game with then leave your name in this thread.
Also if you have any tips for multiplayer, post them here too.
