Unreal Tournament 3

I think all of the existing UT3 players from this forum should start a regular fun night for this game so that we can actually get a game with REAL people instead of bots.

I can't really host games since i only have a 3mb connection but i am sure somewhere out there should have a faster one.

If you do come to this thread and we can sort something out.

I definately agree, this forum is the most dead out of all games on the forums. It would probably be quite hard to arrange though, with people saying they'll turn up but not or time's not being suitable for everyone. I imagine weekends would draw in most people... I could host but any more than 10 players and the game gets laggy as hell (unplayable for me but apparently it's still fine for others, it's like I'm getting everyone else's lag).

I think the amount of replies this thread got just about shows the state of the game, unofortunately. I must admit, I thought it'd get at least a few more replies. It definately has it's players, just not on here seemingly.

Just seen this thread actually, well since Yaster moved on to better things on the forums the UT3 official events pretty much died and myself and other community members from Unreal Monday nights moved on. We still play regulary but we host events on another community. 

www.MultiPlayer.jp is an open community ( over 18 only though) so come and check it out and join us, if you are lookin for a laugh while gamin and havin a great time above all, Mjp is the place for you.

I remember seeing about these "Unreal Events" years back but didn't have my ps3 online to be able to join in. Sucks

Bring it back! Guess they'll only do it for games that have enough demand though, and, well...

I'd love to bring back the old days actually.  Maybe not something regular though.  I'm doing a one off Rainbow Six Vegas 2 event on Thursday, who knows I might wheel out Unreal for a future date.

Righty-ho, it's time that this diamond classic game was brought back into the limelight, so i'm offering to host a UT3 session on Sunday evenings from 9pm GMT. I tend to find that i play for about an hour with a couple of friends around about then, so no sense not advertising!

This game is great, the community died because people thought it would be cod or something. Such a shame, such a great game.
